Welcome to Sara Hughes Veterinary Physiotherapy

Hi, I’m Sara Hughes, and I’m an extensively experienced and qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist based in Netheravon, Wiltshire covering Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset, Berkshire and Somerset.

I’m a member of The Association for the Scientific Study of Animal and Veterinary Physiotherapists (ASSVAP) and the International Association of Animal Massage Therapists (IAAMT). This means that when it comes to providing massage and physiotherapy treatments to your companions whether they’re of the equine, canine, or feline variety, they’re in the safest of hands.

Furthermore, as a member of ASSVAP and IAAMT, you’ll have complete peace of mind that all treatments will be delivered under the strictest guidelines, also ensuring your horse or pet gains the maximum possible benefit from the therapy they receive.

If you feel your horse or pet could benefit from a treatment, or have noticed they’re not their usual self, then get in touch for a chat and we’ll arrange a convenient appointment.

I use a range of techniques to remove muscle spasms, relieve pain and strengthen muscles.

Furthermore, I am able to perform manipulations where required, to re-balance and re-educate the muscles and the skeleton. In addition, after each session I will demonstrate a range of exercises that you can to ensure your horse continues to benefit from the treatment.

I am also able to work with insurance referrals, please consult with your insurer beforehand.

I work with horses, dogs, cats, and any other animal that requires physiotherapy.

Arranging a convenient appointment couldn’t be easier – you can get in touch through this website, or even  through Facebook, or by email or  phone on 07783 657358

  • I use Sara all the time and she is fantastic. Nothing can hide from her, if there is tension or a problem she will feel it. I have been doing the back up and stretches and he very rarely has anything to mention now. I just like her to check his fit a well a few times a year now. If you are worried about your horse or dog don't delay just call her!
